About the role

  • Technical review of offers, preparation of measurements/quantity takeoffs, and approval in coordination with sales staff
  • Preparation of services and scheduling/dispatching of customer orders for recurring inspections of electrical devices, systems and machinery according to recognized operational safety and DIN VDE standards
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of a service technician team of up to 20 employees within a fixed area of operation
  • Scheduling of team members, coordination of test procedures, and serving as the on-site project contact
  • Execution and organization of professional test operations as well as support and planning of further training for new field staff in the use of state-of-the-art measuring instruments and measurement software
  • Preliminary consulting and clarification for customer-specific on-site questions as well as after-sales measures to secure and expand customer satisfaction
  • Responsibility for documenting test results in digital form and transmitting them to the central office
  • Travel required, accounting for approximately 30–40% of your working time

Requirements

  • Vocational qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, or similar recognized electrical trade qualifications
  • Further training as an electrical technician (m/f/d) or master electrician (m/f/d) is desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of project management and work preparation, as well as relevant professional experience in electrical operational safety inspections according to DGUV Regulation 3
  • Some leadership experience and enthusiasm for managing staff
  • Good IT skills and solid electrical and electronic knowledge (e.g., reading circuit diagrams, troubleshooting, analytics, etc.)
