About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop key client accounts focusing on Chinese Auto Brands to LATAM
  • Ensure client satisfaction, drive account growth, and achieve business objectives
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned accounts
  • Elevate and expand relationships across functional departments within the customer supply chain
  • Identify and collaborate with local sales and operations contacts within DP World to support account needs
  • Create comprehensive development plans for all aspects of assigned accounts
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for additional business and guide them from initial contact to contract
  • Collaborate with Region/DP World Country Capabilities sales and account management
  • Conduct regular business reviews leveraging internal data and market intelligence
  • Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders
  • Develop and execute plans to retain current global business levels with specified accounts
  • Drive Gross Profit growth at a global to Region/DP World Country level
  • Proactive review of financial results and service performance reports
  • Responsible for management and leadership of an engaged team promoting collaboration and development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven track record in account management, with demonstrated client retention and growth success
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, Excel, logistics software)
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Experience with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus.
