About the role
- Role Overview: embedded with core platform engineering teams, owning APIs and services for the bill pay platform
- Responsibilities: Translate company strategy into roadmaps; Collaborate with engineering and executive leadership; Conduct developer research to ensure DX; Author PRDs, epics, and user stories; Manage backlog; Create API docs and release notes; Define and analyze metrics (API usage, performance, SLOs)
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years of technical product management; Deep understanding of API design principles; Experience creating API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger, Stoplight, ReadMe, or similar tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of technical product management, with a strong preference for experience with internal platforms or developer-facing API products
- Deep understanding of API design principles and what constitutes a great developer experience
- Experience creating and maintaining high-quality API documentation for technical audiences (e.g., using OpenAPI/Swagger, Stoplight, ReadMe, or similar tools)
