About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure accurate and consistent application of company’s ASC 606 policy via deal review and analyses for complex contracts as well as deal linkages and modifications
Complete all required month-end close activities including revenue recognition, journal entries, and management reporting
Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue recognition operations
Maintain and update internal documentation for revenue policies, procedures, and controls
Perform regular and special analysis to ensure proper contract processing and reporting
Work with external auditors to provide support for annual audit

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA or BS in finance/accounting, CPA preferred
3+ years of accounting experience in the SaaS/Technology industry and/or public accounting firm. Revenue experience is a plus
A proactive worker with integrity, accountability, excellent interpersonal skills, while also being a team player with an ability and willingness to identify areas to assist the team.
A forward thinker who will see ideas through from beginning to end by providing recommendations, developing solutions, and putting them into practice.
An effective communicator who can explain complex topics with ease, translating concepts across teams to drive alignment, and work seamlessly to implement solutions that achieve shared success
Proficient in Excel and Google Workplace
Netsuite or Salesforce experience is a plus
Experience with analytics, automation, or AI is a plus (Claude, Alteryx, Domo)
