About the role
- Serve as a critical link between business operations and technical development to ensure seamless implementation of system solutions
- Gather and analyze requirements for both ad hoc requests and large-scale implementations
- Lead quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts end-to-end
- Partner with developers to ensure successful solution delivery and system alignment with business needs
- Analyze and resolve issues related to data, applications, and system functionality
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability within policy and claim systems
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance business processes and optimize system performance
- Contribute to DOXA's growth and evolve with the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role
- 3+ years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance
- 3+ Years experience with insurance policy admin systems and processes
- Basic Understanding of Systems Architecture
- Intermediate SQL skills
- Knowledge of Development Processes
- Knowledge of version control systems and project management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- (Preferred) Experience developing scalable web applications using .NET technologies (VB & C#)
- (Preferred) Familiarity with configuring and managing insurance policy forms and templates
- (Preferred) Familiarity with claims systems and associated processes
- (Preferred) Expertise in Excess and Surplus Insurance Lines
- (Preferred) Understanding of insurance rating framework and methodologies
