About the role
- Serve as a critical link between business operations and technical development, ensuring the seamless implementation of system solutions
- Gather and analyze requirements for ad hoc requests and large-scale implementations
- Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Partner with developers to ensure successful solution delivery and system alignment with business needs
- Analyze and resolve issues related to data, applications, and system functionality
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance business processes and optimize system performance
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability within policy and claim systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role
- 3+ years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance
- 3+ Years experience with insurance policy admin systems and processes
- Basic Understanding of Systems Architecture
- Intermediate SQL skills
- Knowledge of Development Processes
- Knowledge of version control systems and project management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred: Experience developing scalable web applications using .NET technologies (VB & C#)
- Preferred: Familiarity with configuring and managing insurance policy forms and templates
- Preferred: Familiarity with claims systems and associated processes
- Preferred: Expertise in Excess and Surplus Insurance Lines
- Preferred: Understanding of insurance rating framework and methodologies
