About the role

  • Serve as a critical link between business operations and technical development, ensuring the seamless implementation of system solutions
  • Gather and analyze requirements for ad hoc requests and large-scale implementations
  • Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Partner with developers to ensure successful solution delivery and system alignment with business needs
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to data, applications, and system functionality
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance business processes and optimize system performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability within policy and claim systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role
  • 3+ years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance
  • 3+ Years experience with insurance policy admin systems and processes
  • Basic Understanding of Systems Architecture
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Knowledge of Development Processes
  • Knowledge of version control systems and project management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred: Experience developing scalable web applications using .NET technologies (VB & C#)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with configuring and managing insurance policy forms and templates
  • Preferred: Familiarity with claims systems and associated processes
  • Preferred: Expertise in Excess and Surplus Insurance Lines
  • Preferred: Understanding of insurance rating framework and methodologies
