About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set and lead the global MobilityScience™ growth strategy, accountable for delivering greater than $1B in growth
- Build and scale Dow’s MobilityScience™ growth platform across the global mobility ecosystem
- Identify priority applications, value pools, market opportunities, and strategic bets
- Accelerate commercialization of innovation with R&D, businesses, regions, and customers
- Govern strategic programs through milestones, ownership, investment discipline, and measurable outcomes
- Define and activate global brand owner and strategic customer engagement plans with OEMs, tiers, and value chain partners
- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic investments to strengthen Dow’s portfolio and expand market access
- Guide regional and business teams in selecting, staffing, and executing high-impact growth initiatives
- Own the growth platform strategy, roadmap, operating model, execution cadence, governance, KPIs, performance tracking, and executive reporting
- Lead talent strategy, staffing, and capability development for critical growth programs and entrepreneurial platform teams
- Influence business and regional growth strategies, investment priorities, portfolio choices, capital allocation, product, commercial, customer, and go-to-market priorities
- Align senior stakeholders and drive decisions that create long-term enterprise value
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the Automotive industry
- Experience leading and executing enterprise-level or business segment strategic initiatives
- Experience with planning, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of measurable business outcomes
- Experience leading a globally distributed team across multiple regions and cultures
- Ability to work legally in the United States
- No visa sponsorship/support available, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
- Strategic and commercial acumen
- Experience building value chain engagement and strategic customer partnerships
- Strong command of pricing, value propositions, market entry, customer segmentation, and go-to-market execution
- Success translating strategy into scalable execution models, governance structures, operating rhythms, and cross-functional accountability
- Experience accelerating innovation commercialization with R&D, business, technical, and commercial teams
- Ability to build, coach, and empower entrepreneurial teams
- Deep understanding of the automotive value chain and emerging growth platforms in battery, power electronics, lightweighting, and sustainable materials
- Familiarity with technical readiness, pipeline progression, spec-ins, innovation revenue, EBITDA growth, and growth governance
