About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Critically analyzing existing healthcare policies and procedures to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Helping clients strengthen internal controls and improve the efficiency of compliance-involved operations
- Working independently and collaboratively to support client engagements across a variety of service areas
- Compliance program gap analyses
- Healthcare compliance risk assessments and internal controls evaluations
- Audit preparedness and mock interview sessions
- Compliance training development and delivery
- Stakeholder interviews and strategic management analyses
- Compliance benchmarking assessments
- Advisory support on healthcare compliance matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree; strong preference for Master's degree in a related field or JD
- Authorized to work in the US
- 4+ years of healthcare compliance experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device organizations
- Thorough understanding HHS-OIG Compliance Program Guidance, DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs
- Working knowledge of Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), False Claims Act (FCA), FDA promotional regulations and International Compliance Codes
- Excellent knowledge and demonstrated capabilities using the Microsoft Office suite of tools
- Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
- Strong critical analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills and aptitude to manage and mentor others
- Excellent organizational and management skills
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities without diminished effectiveness
- Strong communications skills, including both written and verbal
- Ability to conduct business development activities and meetings to generate new clients and increase existing engagements
