About the role
- Bringing all accounting and financial reporting in-house from external providers
- Owning the month-end close, management accounts, and financial reporting in a timely manner
- Owning all consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.
- Designing and implementing robust accounting processes, controls, policies, and work papers
- Managing and developing all systems and processes around AP, AR, month-end, year-end financial reporting, management accounts, tax etc
- Selecting, implementing, and optimising finance systems and tools that will scale with the business
- Coordinate with external providers on tax compliance, audits, and regulatory obligations across jurisdictions
- Develop a deep understanding of crypto accounting standards to provide the management team with actionable insights
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting and reporting background. Experience with US GAAP accounting is a plus. Experience with digital asset accounting a plus, but not essential
- Experience managing the ERP system end-to-end (QuickBooks a plus)
- Experience in a scale-up, FinTech, SaaS, or high-growth environment preferred
- Experience in optimising transfer pricing and multi-jurisdiction accounting is a plus
- Comfortable being hands-on while also thinking strategically
- Experience implementing finance systems and setting up processes from scratch
- Proactive, commercially minded, and confiden,t working closely with founders and senior stakeholders
