About the role
- Play foundational role building go-to-market engine targeting large international General Contractors
- Initiate high-value conversations with senior decision-makers
- Create new business opportunities to fuel Slate’s growth
- Partner with an Account Executive to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas
- Engage construction professionals through phone, email, and other channels to understand challenges and identify opportunities
- Operate autonomously to improve processes, training, technology, and other business aspects
- Work with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging
- Conduct daily activities: pre-call research and planning, high volume calls, follow-up/nurturing leads, maintain HubSpot records
Requirements
- Desire to pursue a career in Enterprise Sales
- Construction industry experience
- Will to achieve results—the curiosity and perseverance to push harder when the going gets tough
- Hunter mindset – This role is 90% outbound
- Commitment to lifelong learning and continuous development
- Able to receive feedback/coaching and adapt to overcome challenges
- Bonus Points: 1+ years’ experience in outbound sales/prospecting
- SaaS Sales experience ideal
- Entrepreneur mindset
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
