About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for monitoring and driving improvements to the quality of components or products.
- Participate on project teams and lead projects.
- Ensure current components and products comply to specifications.
- Implement and sustain controls while driving continuous improvements to products and processes.
- Complete formal audits and assessments on products and processes.
- Continuously monitor quality of supplied and/or internally manufactured components and products for conformance to specification.
- Drive corrective actions on non-conforming materials.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering-General Bachelor’s Degree
- Sound understanding of engineering principles
- Familiar with root cause analysis
- Knowledge and prior experience with company equipment, production processes, and engineering is desired.
- Familiar with Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Prior internship, co-op, or professional experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
- 1+ years of manufacturing, quality, or engineering experience preferred.
