About the role

  • Provide financial analysis and coordination to the EMEA plants, logistic and sourcing process financials
  • Act as an effective business partner for the EMEA operations leadership
  • Ensure effective financial management and control across EMEA operation
  • Drive profitability and cost-efficiency through robust financial leadership and partnership with operations leadership
  • Perform timely and insightful financial and operational analyses, and present the related data, information and reports to the operations management team for review, decision-making, and action
  • Guarantee the internal control into EMEA operations (Manufacturing + Supply chain)
  • Lead discussions on financial performance in EMEA operations, driving action plans and cost improvement
  • Lead SAP implementation and system improvement into operations controlling
  • Improve key performance metrics, such as inventory turns and productivity cost reduction and achieving financial targets such as P&L, WC and OCF
  • Strengthen the plant control implementing best practices
  • Establish and maintain adequate internal controls
  • Ensure COGS control and efficiency analysis of all operational areas within EMEA
  • Support business plans, such as Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Plan (LRP)
  • Conduct investment analysis across all operations
  • Develop and implement finance/operations indicators/KPIs
  • Establish strong relationship with key stakeholder groups across procurement, engineering and manufacturing operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated success in a previously held controlling role
  • Minimum 5 years of working in a financial role in an international manufacturing environment
  • In-depth knowledge of operations dynamics and finance reporting
  • Cost accounting and business analysis knowledge
  • Good project / program management experience (with focus on ERP implementation projects)
  • Systems knowledge: Experience in ERP implementation, preferred SAP
  • Preferred: Khalix consolidation system utilization
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Strategical view to support long term view (5-10 years) for business/operations
  • High level of maturity, flexibility and analytical skills
  • High level of adaptability to dynamically evolving requirements
  • Multilingual (English compulsory)
