About the role
- Provide financial analysis and coordination to the EMEA plants, logistic and sourcing process financials
- Act as an effective business partner for the EMEA operations leadership
- Ensure effective financial management and control across EMEA operation
- Drive profitability and cost-efficiency through robust financial leadership and partnership with operations leadership
- Perform timely and insightful financial and operational analyses, and present the related data, information and reports to the operations management team for review, decision-making, and action
- Guarantee the internal control into EMEA operations (Manufacturing + Supply chain)
- Lead discussions on financial performance in EMEA operations, driving action plans and cost improvement
- Lead SAP implementation and system improvement into operations controlling
- Improve key performance metrics, such as inventory turns and productivity cost reduction and achieving financial targets such as P&L, WC and OCF
- Strengthen the plant control implementing best practices
- Establish and maintain adequate internal controls
- Ensure COGS control and efficiency analysis of all operational areas within EMEA
- Support business plans, such as Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Plan (LRP)
- Conduct investment analysis across all operations
- Develop and implement finance/operations indicators/KPIs
- Establish strong relationship with key stakeholder groups across procurement, engineering and manufacturing operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in a previously held controlling role
- Minimum 5 years of working in a financial role in an international manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of operations dynamics and finance reporting
- Cost accounting and business analysis knowledge
- Good project / program management experience (with focus on ERP implementation projects)
- Systems knowledge: Experience in ERP implementation, preferred SAP
- Preferred: Khalix consolidation system utilization
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
- Strategical view to support long term view (5-10 years) for business/operations
- High level of maturity, flexibility and analytical skills
- High level of adaptability to dynamically evolving requirements
- Multilingual (English compulsory)
