Key responsibilities & impact

Own the bank partner relationship portfolio
Manage existing partners and evaluate new ones
Support negotiations on commercial terms, operational SLAs, and integration roadmaps
Own the operational health of ACH, OCT, AFT, and cash rails
Drive cost-per-transaction down and reliability up
Build the playbook, SLA, and automation for disputes, suspensions, and support
Set the budget, manage banking partner spend, and drive cost-efficiency roadmap
Partner with Product and Engineering on payments infrastructure investments

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years in banking operations, treasury operations, or payments operations at a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services company
At least 2 years of people management experience
Owned a P&L or meaningful budget
Managed bank or BaaS partners
Experience negotiating with banking partners (e.g., Stripe, Marqeta, Adyen, Galileo)
Ability to influence across Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering
Experience turning manual operations into a scaled function
