About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support compliance strategy and execution for DoorDash’s merchant capital program
Partner cross-functionally and externally with third party partners to embed compliance into the product lifecycle
Translate legal and regulatory requirements into operational guidance and product specifications
Support audits, bank partner requests, and regulatory testing
Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to merchant lending regulatory compliance
Develop and support governance functions such as testing, issue management, and compliance reviews
Support customer service on complaints related to DoorDash Merchant workstreams
Conduct and/or manage compliance assessments and contribute to the design of scalable, risk-based controls

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance in the financial services industry, preferably fintech
Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to financial products
Experience maintaining a fintech compliance program
Ability to work well with ambiguity and synthesize large amounts of complex information
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Exceptional judgment and integrity
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and able to set priorities
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM))
