About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will oversee all financial transactions, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and prepare accurate financial reports and analyses that support management in key decision-making.
In close collaboration with your colleagues in the Finance team and external advisors, you will ensure that all tax requirements, including international ones, are met, thereby contributing significantly to Doonails’ financial stability and success.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Participate in group accounting, including intercompany transactions, in close coordination with the team.
Improve internal accounting processes and reporting tools, including automations and the use of AI.
Serve as the point of contact for our (international) tax advisors.
Communicate with tax authorities and ensure compliance with all international tax law requirements.
Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience: At least 2–4 years of professional experience in accounting or financial management.
Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance or a comparable field.
Expertise: Solid knowledge of international accounting standards and tax law.
International environment: Experience working with tax advisors and authorities, ideally in an international context.
Way of working: Strong analytical skills, a structured and precise working style, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Drive: A hands-on mentality, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to getting things done.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken German and English.
