About the role
- Responsible for the full regulatory compliance of all Doonails products in our core markets (EU, CH, UK, USA)
- Primary point of contact for product approvals, claims, labeling and initial legal assessments
- Protect Doonails from regulatory risks and accelerate our product launches
- Build an internal compliance knowledge system to reduce dependence on external consultants
- Manage external laboratory testing and safety assessments
- Create, maintain and independently interpret PIFs, safety data sheets and laboratory reports
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in Regulatory Affairs or Legal Compliance—ideally in the cosmetics, beauty or FMCG sectors
- Solid knowledge of EU cosmetics law (Regulation 1223/2009); practical experience with CPNP, PIFs and Cosmetic Product Safety Reports; knowledge of other markets (CH, UK, USA) is an advantage
- Familiarity with claims compliance and labeling requirements for cosmetic products—you know what goes on the packaging and why
- Knowledge of packaging laws and waste compliance (VerpackG, LUCID, EPR, Battery Regulation) is a plus
- Organized, self-directed, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously—you keep the overview, prioritize pragmatically and know when to engage external expertise
- Open to AI tools and digital workflows for documenting and interpreting regulatory content—you take initiative rather than wait
- Fluent in German, strong English—additional EU languages a plus
