About the role
- Build and manage our global supplier sourcing pipeline
- Identify and select the best manufacturers and production partners
- Assess suppliers together with internal stakeholders
- Conduct structured selection processes including product, procurement and regulatory validation
- Negotiate prices, MOQs, payment terms and Incoterms
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee contract management
- Establish long-term strategic supplier partnerships
- Ensure economically viable terms for new and existing products
- Develop category and commodity strategies
- Evaluate risks such as single sourcing, country risks or regulatory risks
- Build a stable, scalable supplier structure with multiple production partners
- Support make-or-buy decisions
- Establish and manage supplier performance management (quality, OTIF, cost, service)
- Analyze cost structures (cost breakdown / should-cost models)
- Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities
- Ensure sustainability and compliance requirements are met
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Management
- Experience building and managing international supplier networks
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing in Asia
- Strong negotiation skills and a confident presence when dealing with manufacturers
- Structured, analytical working style with a clear ownership mindset
- Experience with costing, supplier evaluation and procurement strategies
- Ability to think strategically while executing operationally
- Hands-on mentality and a desire to build things from scratch
