About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor import processes from purchase order issuance to delivery of goods at the distribution center
  • Verify and control import documentation, including Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, certificates and other required documents
  • Register and track processes in Siscomex
  • Work together with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, international suppliers and internal departments to ensure operational flow
  • Monitor shipments, customs clearance and deliveries, identifying deviations and helping resolve any incidents
  • Oversee fiscal classifications (NCM), applicable taxes and customs regimes for operations
  • Control import-related costs, including freight, insurance, storage, fees and taxes
  • Maintain systems, spreadsheets and KPIs up to date, ensuring data reliability and tracking of operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with import processes, monitoring shipments, customs clearance and delivery of goods
  • Knowledge of import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB and related documents)
  • Basic understanding of customs legislation, fiscal classification (NCM) and taxes applicable to operations
  • Intermediate to advanced English for reading documents and communicating with international suppliers
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Organized, analytical and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines
