About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor import processes from purchase order issuance to delivery of goods at the distribution center
Verify and control import documentation, including Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, certificates and other required documents
Register and track processes in Siscomex
Work together with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, international suppliers and internal departments to ensure operational flow
Monitor shipments, customs clearance and deliveries, identifying deviations and helping resolve any incidents
Oversee fiscal classifications (NCM), applicable taxes and customs regimes for operations
Control import-related costs, including freight, insurance, storage, fees and taxes
Maintain systems, spreadsheets and KPIs up to date, ensuring data reliability and tracking of operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with import processes, monitoring shipments, customs clearance and delivery of goods
Knowledge of import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB and related documents)
Basic understanding of customs legislation, fiscal classification (NCM) and taxes applicable to operations
Intermediate to advanced English for reading documents and communicating with international suppliers
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
Organized, analytical and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines
