About the role

  • Lead the Controllership and Tax functions, ensuring accurate determination of results, timely financial close, compliance with tax obligations, and adherence to applicable accounting standards
  • Ensure the integrity of financial statements and balance sheets, assuming technical responsibility and alignment with corporate governance standards
  • Manage the relationship with external auditors, ensuring structured, transparent processes and a high level of compliance
  • Design and strengthen internal controls, financial policies and governance processes, with a focus on scalability, risk mitigation and operational efficiency
  • Lead initiatives to implement and advance financial systems, promoting greater integration, automation and reliability of information
  • Develop and lead the direct management team, currently composed of three manager-level roles, fostering technical maturity, autonomy and business-oriented thinking
  • Support the CFO and executive leadership with financial analyses, feasibility studies, project evaluations and strategic initiatives
  • Participate in M&A, integration and expansion projects, assessing financial, tax and accounting impacts
  • Maintain continuous alignment with the international corporate office, ensuring consistency of practices, reporting and global standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Controllership and Tax, with a solid command of accounting, accounting standards and tax legislation
  • Experience in multinational companies and interaction with a foreign headquarters, preferably in environments with robust governance
  • Experience in senior leadership roles (Head, Director or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to design processes, strengthen controls and support organizational growth
  • Analytical and strategic profile with a strong understanding of the financial impact on the business
  • Experience in developing leaders and managing senior teams
  • Advanced English
  • Active CRC registration (Brazilian professional accounting license) is desirable.
