About the role
- Review, code and post all types of accounting documents
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Prepare VAT returns
- Process travel expense and corporate credit card statements
- Manage payment processes, including processing incoming invoices and maintaining vendor/creditor master data
- Ensure accurate and diligent management of the overall accounting function
Requirements
- Completed commercial/vocational training and 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting
- Strong numerical affinity and excellent accounting knowledge
- Proficient with Google Workspace and common accounting software such as DATEV
- Excellent organizational skills and a goal-oriented, reliable, and solution-focused approach to work
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Fluent in German and English
