About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review, code and post all types of accounting documents
Assist with month-end and year-end closings
Prepare VAT returns
Process travel expense and corporate credit card statements
Manage payment processes, including processing incoming invoices and maintaining vendor/creditor master data
Ensure accurate and diligent management of the overall accounting function

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial/vocational training and 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting
Strong numerical affinity and excellent accounting knowledge
Proficient with Google Workspace and common accounting software such as DATEV
Excellent organizational skills and a goal-oriented, reliable, and solution-focused approach to work
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Fluent in German and English
