About the role
- Providing analysis of results and reporting of operational and financial metrics for manufacturing plants and target areas of improvement.
- Supporting financial analysis of capital projects using realistic benefit cases to ensure investments are made diligently across the plants.
- Creating forecasts and annual budgets incorporating current trends and internal and external drivers of results.
- Working with management to help improve efficiencies, reduce cost or other actions that may be necessary.
- Summarizing and extracting information from corporate and other financial systems to support the decision-making process of other analysts and operations managers.
- Reporting results to management and key stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing dashboards and reporting tools to help translate how operational performance impacts financial results.
- And a variety of other analytical projects that may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, ideally supporting operations in a manufacturing or global supply chain setting.
- Problem-solving skills and strong analytical capability.
- Attention to detail, project management discipline, and the ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- High collaboration work method and solid written and oral communication, ideally with global experience.
- Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, Oracle EPM, and/or other financial analysis, statistical analysis and reporting tools.
