About the role
- Preparation of management reports utilizing sales, cost, and statistical information
- Analytical reviews of trends, variances, and scenario-based impacts
- Assist with the implementation and interpretation of US GAAP and all relevant accounting guidance
- Perform relevant accounting research and prepare memos on accounting treatment
- Train and provide guidance on new and recurring accounting guidance
- Ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance in processes and controls
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Successfully completed or working towards a CPA designation is a plus
- Experience with application and server-based software (SAP)
- Analytical ability, planning and organizational skills
- Significant experience with the application of US GAAP
- Excellent analytical skills with high-level attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, including advanced formulas & pivot tables
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and to “think outside the box”
- Must work well in a team-based environment while also working independently
