About the role
- Lead the wood procurement activities for Domtar
- Oversee planning, procurement and administration of pulpwood contracts
- Maintain relationships within the company and wood supply chain
- Ensure procured pulpwood and chips meet quality specifications
- Coordinate interaction between Wood Procurement and Accounting
Requirements
- BS degree in forestry or in a related field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the forest production and purchasing
- Knowledge of wood procurement, wood quality, and market conditions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
