About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the physical transformation of properties
  • Establish and implement comprehensive maintenance plans
  • Collaborate closely with the Property Operations Specialist
  • Ensure efficient functionality and address maintenance challenges promptly
  • Maintain inventory levels and procure maintenance supplies
  • Perform essential functions in the absence of critical site staff
  • Obtain bids for maintenance work and create Purchase Orders
  • Train maintenance staff in preventive maintenance procedures
  • Complete all maintenance tasks identified in project scope
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and emergency protocols
  • Manage and document tasks using provided maintenance devices
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Full-time maintenance experience, minimum of 3-5 years
  • Special Boiler Operator License, when required
  • Required local certification (i.e. boiler operator license, certified pool operator, etc.)
  • High school diploma required, and/or CRMT (Certified Residential Maintenance Technician) preferred
  • Universal Freon Recovery Certification (EPA 608)
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to drive and insurance required
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • General knowledge of all building codes and laws applicable to the community (Freon recovery, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly with the others orally and in writing
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients and other employees
  • Microsoft Office / Yardi experience preferred
  • Common sense and good judgment in day-to-day matters
  • Ability to troubleshoot quickly and produce performance-based results
