About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the physical transformation of properties
Establish and implement comprehensive maintenance plans
Collaborate closely with the Property Operations Specialist
Ensure efficient functionality and address maintenance challenges promptly
Maintain inventory levels and procure maintenance supplies
Perform essential functions in the absence of critical site staff
Obtain bids for maintenance work and create Purchase Orders
Train maintenance staff in preventive maintenance procedures
Complete all maintenance tasks identified in project scope
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and emergency protocols
Manage and document tasks using provided maintenance devices
Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Full-time maintenance experience, minimum of 3-5 years
Special Boiler Operator License, when required
Required local certification (i.e. boiler operator license, certified pool operator, etc.)
High school diploma required, and/or CRMT (Certified Residential Maintenance Technician) preferred
Universal Freon Recovery Certification (EPA 608)
Valid driver’s license, ability to drive and insurance required
Ability to use hand and power tools
General knowledge of all building codes and laws applicable to the community (Freon recovery, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools, etc.)
Ability to communicate in English clearly with the others orally and in writing
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients and other employees
Microsoft Office / Yardi experience preferred
Common sense and good judgment in day-to-day matters
Ability to troubleshoot quickly and produce performance-based results
