About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet and exceed territory volume growth objectives by developing and increasing business in existing accounts
  • Make service calls to the existing account base
  • Develop and manage strong sustainable relationships with the customer base
  • Make daily outbound sales calls to a touchpoint within a targeted account
  • Set qualified appointments for outside sales executives
  • Record complete service and call activity daily using our CRM software
  • Communicate effectively and work in conjunction with regional account executives and regional account managers
  • Become an expert on Dominion Diagnostic’s product offering
  • Provide regular updates to the Inside Sales Manager on existing customers, pipeline, and monthly call reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred
  • 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Laboratory experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key physicians and office staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
