About the role
- Support the day-to-day management of Dolby’s core benefit and wellbeing programs
- Analyze benefits data to assess the effectiveness of benefits programs and provide insights for decision-making
- Prepare and present ad-hoc reports on the utilization and cost of benefits programs
- Manage and update benefit and wellbeing program metrics and dashboards
- Monitor ongoing operations and conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity across internal and external systems
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Prepare submissions for various federal, state, and local compliance reporting such as 5500s, Non-Discrimination Testing, ACA
- Manage benefits and wellbeing communication calendar
- Provide training and documentation for People Operations staff as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration and analysis, with progressive responsibility
- Strong knowledge of US federal and state regulations governing employee benefit programs
- Proficiency in benefits administration software and HRIS systems
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex benefits information to employees
- Experience with data analytics and reporting with solid proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Periodic travel to San Francisco HQ
