About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the day-to-day management of Dolby’s core benefit and wellbeing programs
  • Analyze benefits data to assess the effectiveness of benefits programs and provide insights for decision-making
  • Prepare and present ad-hoc reports on the utilization and cost of benefits programs
  • Manage and update benefit and wellbeing program metrics and dashboards
  • Monitor ongoing operations and conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity across internal and external systems
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
  • Prepare submissions for various federal, state, and local compliance reporting such as 5500s, Non-Discrimination Testing, ACA
  • Manage benefits and wellbeing communication calendar
  • Provide training and documentation for People Operations staff as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration and analysis, with progressive responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of US federal and state regulations governing employee benefit programs
  • Proficiency in benefits administration software and HRIS systems
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex benefits information to employees
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting with solid proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Periodic travel to San Francisco HQ
