About the role

  • Support the establishment and closure of legal entities where required for projects.
  • Engage with internal tax, tender and project teams to develop and maintain project compliance plans.
  • Work with operational managers and support functions such as Cost Control, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable and Payroll to deliver country-specific project compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with local tax advisors to ensure completion of:
  • - Monthly tax filings and payments
  • - Annual financial statements and tax filings
  • Provide project compliance support on larger projects in collaboration with the Compliance Lead.
  • Identify, report and manage project compliance risks.
  • Create, prepare and update country-specific compliance documentation.
  • Capture and document lessons learned to improve future compliance processes.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Provide ad-hoc compliance support across functions as required.
  • Assist with other business activities relevant to the role.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
  • Currently working towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional finance qualification.
  • Graduate with placement experience or 1–2 years’ experience in accounting, finance or compliance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to plan, execute and follow up on tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
