About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end delivery of SRE programs, including incident management, release management, observability, automation, and capacity planning, to support system reliability and performance
- Coordinate work across teams of software engineers, SREs, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to align on priorities, resolve blockers, and track technical deliverables, timelines, and dependencies
- Prepare status updates, dashboards, and reports that highlight program status, milestones, challenges, and outcomes for stakeholders and leadership
- Partner with Incident Commanders to support post-incident reviews, help drive root cause analysis, and track preventive measures to minimize downtime and improve system resilience
- Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, translating technical details into business impact
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of professional experience in the High-Tech Industry, including 5+ years of experience in technical program management or site reliability engineering (SRE) supporting SRE platform and infrastructure for SaaS products and services
- Experience managing technically complex programs involving 25+ team members, with a demonstrated ability to deliver under deadlines
- Experience presenting program plans and updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Experience with SRE principles, including observability, incident response, and infrastructure automation
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience building dashboards and taking a data-driven approach to projects
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project) and agile/scrum frameworks
- Experience managing competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent experience
