About the role
- Work within established data models to understand data structures and entity relationships
- Perform descriptive data analysis under the guidance of senior analysts to identify trends and patterns
- Prepare basic reports and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders
- Work closely with data engineers, project managers, and senior analysts to deliver high-quality data solutions
- Ensure data accuracy by cross-checking data for assigned tasks
- Adhere to data security and compliance regulations and standards
- Participate in code reviews to learn from senior analysts and ensure adherence to best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL (ability to write basic queries)
- Experience with dbt (or similar data transformation tools) is a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Looker Studio, or equivalent BI tools is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiar with data warehousing fundamental concepts and ETL processes
