About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate directly in defining architecture and code design;
Be responsible for backend application development, writing maintainable, reusable, clean and secure code (quality);
Provide support to other team members/developers;
Advanced and proper use of Spring Boot and its modules (e.g., Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Web);
Proper development of REST APIs using Spring Boot (full mastery of HTTP verbs and status codes);
Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL technologies and ORMs (JPA2, Hibernate, JDBC Template) — PostgreSQL;
Test-driven or test-oriented development;
Identify bugs, bottlenecks and other issues within the code, and design ways to resolve and/or improve them (security and performance);
Analyze risks and impacts when developing features or maintaining systems;

Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot;
Experience with relational databases;
Experience with cloud solutions;
Expertise in defining software architecture;
Experience with best practices in architecture and code design;
Knowledge of cloud platforms;
