About the role

  • Develop, deploy, and operate data pipelines to make data available for internal and external clients using AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Produce reports and dashboards using Metabase or other data visualization tools.
  • Develop and support ETLs using Airflow, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Monitor and respond to failures in data infrastructure processes.
  • Manage S3 data lake using abstractions such as Iceberg or Delta Table.
  • Gather requirements and create data models for the data warehouse.
  • Implement performance monitoring and alerting solutions.
  • Automate processes via scripts and code.
  • Document deployed solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience building ETLs in Python or SQL, or 3 years of experience producing reports and dashboards using SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including subqueries and window functions.
  • Experience creating DDLs to manage schemas in PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with programming in procedural or object‑oriented languages.
  • Code versioning using Git.
  • Proficiency using Linux as a development environment.
  • Proficiency in creating data visualization dashboards.
  • Fluent technical English for reading and listening in the IT domain.
