About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end Amazon Advertising performance against sales and profit targets, using TACOS as a primary success measure
  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brands Video, and Sponsored Display
  • Expand into DSP as the account scales
  • Lead keyword and search-term research, campaign architecture, targeting, bid management, budget allocation, and placement optimization
  • Develop and apply a repeatable process for taking new products from launch to maturity
  • Identify and eliminate wasted spend while protecting sales momentum
  • Recommend new catalog items and product opportunities that strengthen advertising performance and close assortment gaps
  • Assess listing and catalog factors influencing ad performance, including pricing, reviews, conversion rate, Buy Box, titles, imagery, and content
  • Flag listing and catalog issues for resolution
  • Deliver proactive, decision-ready reporting covering performance versus goal, key changes, and next actions
  • Ensure advertising performance tracks sales and profit goals, TACOS trends appropriately, new products mature faster, wasted spend is reduced, and leadership understands performance and next steps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–3 years of hands-on Amazon Advertising experience
  • Proven experience managing a large catalog with several brands and thousands of SKUs
  • Auto parts experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing six figures or more in monthly ad spend, with results that can be explained
  • Experience supporting stores generating eight figures or more in annual sales
  • Command of ACOS, ROAS, TACOS, CTR, CVR, CPC, impression share, organic rank, and profitability metrics
  • Working knowledge of the P&L behind advertising, beyond the ad console
  • Proven Amazon DSP capability, or a clear roadmap to it
  • Strong use of advertising software and AI for campaign management, keyword work, and optimization
  • Ability to own outcomes, adapt quickly to data or direction, surface problems early, and stay current with industry trends
  • Full-focus commitment to the role
