About the role

  • Design high-quality digital assets (hero sections, landing pages, modules, collection headers, galleries) that reflect brand standards
  • Apply strong visual design principles (layout, typography, color, hierarchy) to create clean, engaging experiences
  • Deliver production-ready files optimized for speed, responsiveness, and clarity across devices
  • Translate briefs and business goals into user-centered wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity UI designs
  • Create intuitive, responsive layouts that support customer discovery, education, and conversion
  • Incorporate accessibility best practices in typography, contrast, and content structure
  • Build and update Shopify landing pages using the theme editor, sections, or approved tools
  • Implement designs accurately and conduct basic QA for layout integrity, links, and mobile responsiveness
  • Support A/B testing for key design elements (heroes, CTAs, forms, layouts)
  • Review analytics and heatmaps to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with the Head of Ecommerce on launches, campaigns, optimizations, and seasonal content
  • Maintain and evolve a digital design system (colors, type, spacing, components)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional digital design experience (ecommerce, DTC, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital design, UI layouts, landing pages, and ecommerce-focused work
  • Proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD for wireframing and UI design
  • Demonstrated understanding of UX best practices, responsive design, and digital content hierarchy
  • Experience implementing designs on Shopify via theme editor or page-builder tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished work in fast-paced or iterative environments
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
