  • Job Purpose: Manage, support, and optimize enterprise-level Oracle databases, including Data Guard, Golden Gate, advanced security, and UNIX/Linux operations.

Requirements

  • Plan, design, implement, and maintain enterprise Oracle databases.
  • Perform data analysis and manage logical and physical database models.
  • Maintain and enhance database performance through performance tuning and proactive monitoring.
  • Establish and configure database parameters, user access levels, and security protocols.
  • Conduct backup and recovery operations using RMAN and support disaster recovery strategies.
  • Support database high availability (HA) and Data Guard environments.
  • Perform data modeling, prototyping, and database design (logical and physical).
  • Monitor database performance, memory distribution, and optimize system resources.
  • Coordinate database changes, review designs, and assess impacts on systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and answer user questions.
  • Implement and enforce database standards, security procedures, and data integrity controls.
  • Assist in software installation, benchmarking, and threshold testing.
  • Collaborate with application developers and analysts to integrate and optimize database systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing Oracle enterprise databases.
  • Multitenant Oracle Database.
  • Oracle Data Guard and Golden Gate.
  • RMAN backup and recovery.
  • Oracle Advanced Security.
  • Performance tuning in large-scale environments.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL development.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux environments related to database administration.
  • Solid understanding of database security, disaster recovery, and high availability.
  • Knowledge of database structures, relational models, and data processing techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
