About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) of a legislative customer
- Lead the project from initiation to closure
- Manage the project work plan and establish a structured framework
- Produce weekly written status reports
- Design and facilitate participative stakeholder planning sessions
- Conduct environmental and organizational analysis, including SWOT analysis
- Revise and finalize the updated OCIO Directional Plan
- Develop communications materials supporting the updated Directional Plan
- Maintain version-controlled documentation throughout the period
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior government executives
- Expert knowledge of IT strategic and directional planning
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic plan development
- Experience designing and leading participative planning sessions with senior leadership
- Experience developing and applying methodology for tracking progress toward strategic goals
- Experience creating and editing official deliverable-quality documents and reports
- Proficiency in graphic design or visual communication sufficient to produce high-quality graphical representations of plans
- Availability between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays
