About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) of a legislative customer
Lead the project from initiation to closure
Manage the project work plan and establish a structured framework
Produce weekly written status reports
Design and facilitate participative stakeholder planning sessions
Conduct environmental and organizational analysis, including SWOT analysis
Revise and finalize the updated OCIO Directional Plan
Develop communications materials supporting the updated Directional Plan
Maintain version-controlled documentation throughout the period

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field required
Master's degree preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior government executives
Expert knowledge of IT strategic and directional planning
Demonstrated expertise in strategic plan development
Experience designing and leading participative planning sessions with senior leadership
Experience developing and applying methodology for tracking progress toward strategic goals
Experience creating and editing official deliverable-quality documents and reports
Proficiency in graphic design or visual communication sufficient to produce high-quality graphical representations of plans
Availability between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays
