About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a subject matter expert for large equipment operation, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs
Provide high-quality customer service
Assist with equipment logistics (deliveries/pick-ups)
Maintain accurate documentation (work orders and electronic logs)
Perform general maintenance and minor repairs of assigned rental fleet
Ensure fleet inventory accuracy and GPS system is operational
Respond to customer service calls and coordinate repairs
Uphold The Home Depot’s core values and maintain professionalism during interactions

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years of relevant work experience
Valid Driver’s License for the province you reside in
Hands-on mechanical aptitude regarding engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to interpret technical manuals
Experience with fleet compliance and Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations
Working knowledge of handheld technology (e.g., smartphone, laptop, tablet)
Must pass a background check.
