About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Triage, own, and resolve operational incidents end-to-end, providing clear and timely stakeholder updates
- Engage directly with processors and partners to manage day-to-day operations, escalate issues, and remove technical or business blockers
- Provide hands-on merchant support and go-live readiness, including credentials, testing, required tasks, and hypercare during launches
- Act as a key point of contact for Customer Success and Account Management for operational enablement and troubleshooting
- Perform root-cause analysis and document incidents and resolutions in tools such as Jira
- Feed operational learnings back to internal teams and partners
- Ensure rapid and effective resolution of daily operational issues at market and customer level
- Collaborate with processors, acquirers, card networks, APM providers, and issuers to maintain operational continuity
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4+ years of experience in payments/fintech operations, incident management, processor/partner support, or merchant operations
- Familiarity with payment operations and ecosystem, including processors, acquirers, APMs, card schemes, credentials, SLAs, settlements, and reconciliations
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to coordinate across internal teams and external partners
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Customer-centric, calm under pressure, and action-oriented approach
- Proficiency with Excel/Sheets and ticketing/documentation tools such as Jira
- Analytical mindset
- Ability to operate across time zones and manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- Fluency in English
- Experience working with AI tools or automations is a plus
