About the role
- Drive strategic growth by building and expanding commercial partnerships
- Identify opportunities to secure new business by establishing relationships with new partners
- Manage various partner accounts; understand partners' capabilities and strategize to grow the relationship
- Build and develop long-term strategic partnerships
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing partners to broaden scope of services
- Maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations; attend conferences and industry events
- Develop and execute strategic partnership plans; analyze partnership performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver value and manage key accounts
Requirements
- Sales experience, preferably at a technology company
- Experience in payments or other financial systems (plus)
- Proven experience as an Account Manager / Business Development / Partnership Manager
- Proven success partnering and working cross-functionally
- Willingness and ability to take smart risks based on solid strategy and deep customer understanding
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-level
- Flexibility and ability to juggle multiple account management projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
- Able to travel internationally
- Technical knowledge of payments (plus)
