About the role

  • Collaborate with regional and local sales teams across markets to align business development efforts and share best practices.
  • Conduct market analysis and leverage internal intelligence to identify vendor needs and shape new business initiatives.
  • Support strategic focus areas including Food Transition and sustainable finance.
  • Monitor and report on pipeline performance and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Identify and engage new vendor prospects aligned with strategic goals, with a particular focus on agricultural machinery vendors and food sector opportunities, including those with a sustainability link.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain and grow strong relationships with existing program accounts. Support partners in achieving their product sales goals through tailored financial solutions.
  • Efficiency and Simplification: Champion initiatives that streamline business processes and improve partner and customer experience. Identify non-value-added steps and promote efficient practices.
  • Performance Management: Manage vendor performance to achieve or exceed combined contribution targets. Monitor and report on performance metrics across all programs.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with partners to design and implement finance offers and subsidies that support product sales. Provide training and data insights to external account managers.
  • Digital Engagement: Increase external system usage and proposal generation across key dealer-introduced programs. Achieve budget increase in external digital proposal activity.
  • Program Growth: Drive growth across all programs by identifying new opportunities, expanding product offerings, and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Strategic Alignment: Contribute to the organization’s long-term goals by aligning business development efforts with digital transformation, sustainability, and servitization strategies.
  • Collaboration & Culture: Actively participate in team meetings and calls. Share best practices, provide feedback, and support a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in managing multiple key accounts or programs within asset finance, ideally in the hard asset sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation and managing complex terms and conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
  • Experience working remotely and willingness to travel as required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
