About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide day-to-day life-cycle management of the company's Contracts
- Develop and enforce company and departmental procedures relating to contract compliance and business administration
- Support project managers in program execution while ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance
- Supports proposal activities, including review of contractual terms and conditions
- Develop relationships with both contracting officers and subcontractors
- In coordination with the Procurement Department, lead subcontracting and procurement activities under prime contracts
- Develop and prepare complex routine internal and external communications
- Produce or contribute to the production of client and/or internal financial reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s and at least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in government contracts, grants, subcontracts, and procurement management
- Demonstrated experience organizing, problem-solving, and multitasking under tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work well with little supervision
- Leading negotiations with subcontractors, including terms and conditions, price, and schedule
- Familiarity with Gov.-approved procurement systems with CPSR experience is desired
- Experience working with ERP Systems
- Knowledge of the FAR and other agency supplements
- Critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to identify areas of risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels
- Highly adaptable to change; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
