About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide day-to-day life-cycle management of the company's Contracts
  • Develop and enforce company and departmental procedures relating to contract compliance and business administration
  • Support project managers in program execution while ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Supports proposal activities, including review of contractual terms and conditions
  • Develop relationships with both contracting officers and subcontractors
  • In coordination with the Procurement Department, lead subcontracting and procurement activities under prime contracts
  • Develop and prepare complex routine internal and external communications
  • Produce or contribute to the production of client and/or internal financial reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s and at least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in government contracts, grants, subcontracts, and procurement management
  • Demonstrated experience organizing, problem-solving, and multitasking under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with little supervision
  • Leading negotiations with subcontractors, including terms and conditions, price, and schedule
  • Familiarity with Gov.-approved procurement systems with CPSR experience is desired
  • Experience working with ERP Systems
  • Knowledge of the FAR and other agency supplements
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to identify areas of risks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels
  • Highly adaptable to change; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
