About the role

  • Support the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
  • Prepare and post journal entries and complete general ledger reconciliations
  • Manage the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
  • Lead the preparation and completion of monthly office bank reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations including GST
  • Support the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) process
  • Support the external audit by providing detailed and accurate workpapers
  • Prepare and distribute accurate financial reports
  • Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 1-2+ years' experience in a similar role within a legal or professional service environment
  • Part-qualified or qualified CPA or CA preferable
  • Advanced Excel and large data management skills desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
