About the role
- You will take a leading role in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, particularly in the areas of fixed assets, accruals and provisions (management accounts)
- You will reconcile intercompany accounts
- You will review the account coding and the VAT treatment of incoming invoices in our invoice management system
- You will support the preparation of the tax year-end financial statements
- You will participate in international projects and maintain close collaboration with our Central Management Team in the UK and the Global Shared Service Team in Poland
- You will help ensure compliance with financial policies
- You will assist with internal audits and tax audits
Requirements
- Completed vocational training, further training or a university degree in taxation, accounting/financial accounting, or a comparable commercial qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Good, practical knowledge of DATEV
- Good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
- Business-fluent German and good English
- High level of commitment, flexibility and teamwork, with a hands-on mentality
