About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for companies in the Great Things Together Group
  • Support with daily bookkeeping duties alongside the rest of the team
  • Manage month-end procedures such as client WIP adjustments and department reporting
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Collate management packs to be presented to the board
  • Assist with year-end and statutory accounts for group companies, cashflow forecasting and budgeting
  • Prepare weekly reports including staff analysis, chargeability and performance packs
  • Confidently coach, develop and train junior members of the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Be nearly or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with either industry or practice experience.
  • Have proven experience within a similar role.
  • Be tech-savvy, with a knowledge of CCH desirable.
  • Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
  • Love getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator.
