About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direction and oversight throughout the project life cycle, from sales concept through design development, construction drawings, implementation support, and service hand-over
  • Design and engineer digital signage and digital experience solutions, including media players, displays, video walls, dvLED walls, CMS platforms, content distribution, networking, control, and monitoring
  • Negotiate changes in deliverables and schedules and serve as an escalation point for engineering issues
  • Evaluate and recommend digital signage technologies based on project scope and client standards
  • Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements
  • Oversee and/or develop Bills of Materials and supporting documentation
  • Develop design documentation strategies and track engineering team tasks to completion
  • Generate functional system descriptions, block wiring diagrams, rack elevations, custom plates, and cabling assemblies
  • Research, identify, and recommend technology options for clients and projects
  • Oversee construction drawing packages and support installation and coordination with architects and other trades
  • Test, commission, and configure subsystems during project deployment
  • Support projects and teams during the build phase
  • Complete as-built drawings for service hand-over
  • Provide regular project engineering milestone status updates to Technical Operations resource planning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Signage/Experiential and Workplace Conference Solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully completing engineering projects
  • Experience designing enterprise digital signage, experiential technology, and workplace collaboration solutions across complex environments
  • Knowledge of workplace conference solutions, including UC platforms, room standards, audio DSP, microphones, cameras, control systems, AV-over-IP, BYOD/BYOM, room scheduling, monitoring, and enterprise device management
  • Understanding of project phases: Program, Conceptualization, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction, and Commissioning
  • Understanding of the construction process, installation, and integration, including architectural and construction drawings and specifications
  • Valid driver's license in the employee's state of residence
  • Detailed-oriented, independent, self-starter
  • Exceptional time management skills and track record meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate concise, succinct messages
  • High-level problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to travel locally and remotely as required
