Direct and mentor a cross-functional team of software engineers and contractors.
Act as the driving force for SCRUM methodologies within the team.
Own the delivery lifecycle for OS features, managing timelines, risks, and dependencies.
Oversee external partners and contractors, ensuring deliverables meet high standards.
Work closely with the Certification and QA teams to ensure development processes align with industry standards.

Requirements

7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role.
The ability to translate complex technical hurdles into clear project status updates for stakeholders.
Deep expertise in SCRUM/Agile.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
Must be a US Citizen.
Proven experience with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems), embedded systems, or kernel-level development is highly desired.
Familiarity with safety-critical certification processes is also important.
