About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and develop two direct reports: a Lead Product Engineer and a Designer
  • Own end-to-end product design across global payroll, compliance, and HRMS modules
  • Build, maintain, and promote the ListoGlobal design system and component library in Figma
  • Lead user research, interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping
  • Translate research findings into design direction and product decisions
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define, prioritize, and deliver features
  • Establish design standards, interaction patterns, accessibility practices, and a high design quality bar
  • Present design work and rationale to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Design user experiences for web-based SaaS and enterprise product platforms from concept through delivery
  • Create design documentation, specifications, and developer handoff materials
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure accurate implementation
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships and coordinate communications and services affecting clients
  • Attend webinars and training to stay current on best practices
  • Complete assigned projects and other duties requested by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Proven experience designing complex, data-dense enterprise or fintech interfaces
  • Proven experience leading a small design team while remaining hands-on
  • Expert Figma proficiency, including components, variables, prototyping, and design system management
  • Strong user research and synthesis skills
  • Ability to articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-directed and effective working fully remotely
  • No required licenses or certifications
