About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders
  • Write user stories with acceptance criteria, personas, NFRs, and process flows in Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Manage a prioritized backlog of epics and features
  • Run multiple platform initiatives simultaneously
  • Work with onshore, near-shore, and offshore development teams
  • Create technical and end-user documentation
  • Read C# and test APIs in Postman as part of the requirements process
  • Elicit requirements through live stakeholder conversations
  • Report directly to a Director or Sr. Director of Products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, NFRs, and process flows in Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Ability to read and understand C# sufficiently to reason about system behavior
  • Hands-on API development or testing with Postman or Bruno
  • Solid SQL Server skills, including writing queries
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort running parallel initiatives
  • Experience with distributed onshore, near-shore, and offshore teams
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Payroll, benefits, or HCM domain knowledge preferred
  • Experience with platform or API-first products preferred
  • Agile experience preferred
