About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead three to six infrastructure engineers
Own team growth and provide direct feedback
Drive cloud assessments and workload migration
Troubleshoot across application tiers
Own disaster recovery planning and testing
Manage hosting and managed service provider relationships
Handle capacity planning, including specifying and justifying new hardware
Lead hands-on infrastructure operations across the legacy estate and developing cloud platform
Support after-hours maintenance and on-call activities as needed
Maintain full overlap with US leadership for planning and prioritization conversations

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of infrastructure and application support in production
5+ years managing a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
Experience with complex Azure infrastructures
Experience with Azure migration automation, Site Recovery, and multi-subscription structures
Docker and container infrastructure knowledge
Experience with Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
Microsoft SQL and broader Microsoft stack knowledge
Strong Windows and Linux scripting skills
Data center facilities, hardware, and self-hosted security knowledge
Availability for 6:00 PM–3:00 AM IST, Monday to Friday
Ability to handle after-hours maintenance and on-call as needed
SOC 1/SOC 2 or equivalent compliance experience strongly desired
