About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape the technical direction of the next generation PrismHR HR, payroll, and benefits SaaS platform
  • Build working prototypes and proof-of-concepts for development teams
  • Partner with architects on the architecture vision
  • Work with executives on technology strategy
  • Drive the design and integration of major new capabilities with senior developers
  • Coach a group of architects and senior engineers
  • Address the mature multi-value payroll engine, cloud SaaS layer, modernization program, and AI-driven patterns for enterprise HR
  • Build and defend technical roadmaps
  • Provide full overlap with US executives and product leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years across the full SDLC in web-based SaaS, leading Agile teams
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, relational databases, and NoSQL databases
  • Hands-on DevOps experience with containers, configuration management, monitoring, and automation
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar streaming and messaging technologies
  • Extensive AWS and Azure experience
  • Working understanding of RAG, MCP, and agent-based orchestration
  • Track record building technical roadmaps and credibility to defend them
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Nice to have: multi-value databases such as UniData, payroll or HR domain knowledge, and legacy modernization
