- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing based on client needs and complexity.
- Take full ownership of assigned clients and tasks, ensuring thorough and accurate work beyond simply "checking the box." Focus on detail-level accuracy.
- Maintain proactive communication by informing managers of progress, timelines, and potential issues; raise concerns early regarding delays or risks.
- Willingly ask for help or escalate issues when client deadlines, data integrity, or firm standards are at risk.
- Problem-solve independently by troubleshooting issues, researching solutions, and coming prepared with context and questions for management.
- Show commitment to client service through responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Degree in accounting from a 4-year college or university.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a multi-client environment.
- Familiarity with accounting for multiple industries and full-cycle accounting.
- Solid understanding or willingness to learn Strata’s tech stack including Gusto, Bill, Teamwork, Slack, Expensify, Fathom, and other cloud accounting software.
- QBO and Xero certifications.
